1. Introduction
Long Stone Printing House, Inc. ("LSPH," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have over it. This policy applies to all individuals who interact with LSPH through our website, contact form, or worker registration process.
2. Who We Are
Long Stone Printing House, Inc. is a registered multi-business company and HR workforce solutions provider headquartered at Randall Street, Opposite Stop & Shop, Monrovia, Liberia. We recruit, vet, deploy, and manage skilled and professional workers on behalf of client organizations across Liberia. As the company collecting and using your personal data, LSPH is the data controller responsible for your information.
3. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect different categories of personal data depending on how you interact with us:
- Website visitors: We collect minimal technical data necessary to operate the website, such as browser type and page visits. We do not use tracking cookies or build visitor profiles. Anonymous website usage data (page views, visit duration, and performance metrics) collected via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. No personal identifiers, cookies, or fingerprinting are used.
- Contact form submissions: Name, company name, phone number, email address, nature of request, and message content.
- Worker registration applicants: Full name, phone number, email address, field of expertise, years of experience, highest qualification, and application letter. We also collect identity and verification documents including a passport-sized photo, curriculum vitae (CV), police clearance certificate, and medical report.
4. Why We Collect Your Data and Our Legal Basis
We only collect personal data where we have a clear, legitimate purpose:
- To respond to contact inquiries — based on our legitimate interest in addressing business enquiries and potential client relationships.
- To evaluate worker registration applications — based on your explicit consent given at the time of submission, and on steps taken at your request prior to entering an employment or placement agreement.
- To verify worker identity, character, and qualifications before deployment — based on contractual necessity and our legitimate interest in fulfilling our obligations to client organizations.
- To administer payroll, tax compliance, and medical coverage for deployed workers — based on legal obligation under Liberian law and contractual necessity.
5. Sensitive Personal Data
Some data we collect — specifically medical reports and police clearance certificates — is considered sensitive personal data. We collect this information only where strictly necessary for the worker vetting and deployment process, with your explicit consent, and subject to enhanced security protections. This data is stored privately in access-controlled systems and is not shared beyond authorized LSPH personnel directly involved in the recruitment process.
6. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your personal data is stored using industry-standard, access-controlled database and file storage systems hosted by reputable third-party cloud service providers. All uploaded documents are stored in private, non-publicly-accessible storage buckets. Access is restricted to authorized LSPH personnel on a need-to-know basis. We apply technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While we take all reasonable precautions, no digital system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:
- Contact form inquiries: retained for up to 2 years to manage ongoing business relationships, then securely deleted.
- Unsuccessful worker registration applications: retained for up to 1 year to consider you for future opportunities, unless you request earlier deletion.
- Deployed workers: employment-related records retained for up to 5 years following the end of the working relationship, in accordance with Liberian tax and employment law obligations.
- Sensitive documents (police clearance, medical reports): retained only for the duration necessary to complete vetting and placement, then securely deleted unless ongoing employment requires retention.
8. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Client organizations, for the purpose of confirming worker qualifications and facilitating placement — only with your knowledge and as part of the deployment process.
- Third-party service providers who support our operations (cloud storage, email delivery) — bound by data processing agreements and prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
- Regulatory authorities, tax agencies, or law enforcement where required by Liberian law or a valid legal order.
9. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right of rectification: You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right of erasure: You may request deletion of your data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to any legal retention obligations.
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Right to object: You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
10. How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at management@lsphl.com or call 0778-005-354. We will respond within 30 days. We may request proof of identity to protect your data from unauthorized requests.
